As a naturopath, I see the human body as a harmonious arrangement of structure and function forever striving to maintain balance. I always treat the body as a whole, rather than a sum of unrelated and separate parts.

During consultations we will explore the physical, emotional, or environmental factors within your life that may be contributing to your health concerns. Keeping in mind, naturopathic care is not about symptom management, it’s about understanding why there are symptoms in the first place - what is the root cause?

Treatment recommendations may include nutritional advice and specific dietary modifications, supplementation, herbal medicine, lifestyle advice, educational resources, and further testing or referrals for specific treatment if necessary.

Clinical interests:

  • Mental and emotional health (anxiety, depression, stress, burnout)

  • Nervous system complaints (low energy, headaches and migraines, sleep struggles)

  • Women’s reproductive disorders (endometriosis, PCOS)

  • Pre-conception preparation and support, pregnancy and postpartum care, pregnancy loss

  • Menstrual cycle support (pain, irregularity, absence of cycle, PMS, coming off birth control)

  • Immune dysfunction (inability to get well and stay well, reoccurring infections)

  • Thyroid dysfunction

  • Gut and digestive health (IBS, SIBO, leaky gut, Crohn’s)

  • Skin health (acne, eczema, psoriasis)

Customised herbal medicine

Naturopathic consultations

  • For new clients.

Initial consultation - approximately 90 minutes. Online or in-person.

Our initial session will involve a comprehensive analysis of your current health status; analysing your lifestyle and diet, discussing symptoms and triggers, digging into your health history, interpreting recent bloodwork, and a deep dive into possible contributing factors. We are often digging for that time in your life “you’ve never felt well since …”. Initial recommendations will be made during this session and we will agree on some health goals to inspire your individualised plan.

    Health plan

You will be emailed an individualised health plan within a few days expanding on the initial recommendations made during our first session. This will outline where we are going, and how we’ll get there with treatment. This plan might include: nutritional and dietary recommendations, personalised herbal medicine, supplements, lifestyle advice, referrals for additional treatment or observation. Most importantly, you will be educated on what is happening within your body and provided the knowledge to create long-lasting and sustainable changes.

If requested, I also provide a free 15 minute phone call or video call for you to ask any questions, and ensure you have full understanding of the health plan.

    Investment:

    $190 online

  • For existing clients only.

    Approximately 45 minutes.

A follow up appointment will occur every week, fortnight, or month, depending on your case. This is a chance to check in and see how you’re responding to the recommendations, if there are any barriers to change, and if any alterations need to be made to keep you on the trajectory of healing. Introducing further recommendations may be appropriate. These sessions will initially be more frequent, and become less frequent as we move closer toward your health goals.

This session can be in-person or online.

Purchasing products

Dispensing your supplements couldn't be easier. I use online prescription platforms such as Nutriscript, FX Med, and Pacific Health depending on my recommendations. These platforms allow you to purchase any practitioner-only products I have prescribed you online. Once you have completed the purchase, products will be delivered straight to your door.

Testing

In order to build a more comprehensive picture about what is happening within your body, further testing may be deemed necessary. I will make recommendations on what I think are the most essential tests to undertake, and then it is up to you to decide if you wish to test further. This might include:

  • Simple blood tests through your GP or local lab to analyse for example: thyroid function, blood sugar regulation, liver function, iron status, nutrient stores

  • The Dried Urine Testing for Comprehensive Hormones (DUTCH) test which is particularly useful for those experiencing hormone-related issues

  • Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) which is used to determine mineral deficiencies and excesses, heavy metals, and other elements. Minerals play a role in mental health, energy, immune function, metabolism, cardiovascular health and nervous system function

If you have had any recent testing done prior to our consultation, please send them through if you are happy to share the results.

*Please note that all supplements, herbal medicines, and further testing are an additional charge to appointment fees.
